Progress Energy lineman Michael Cartrette uses a boom truck to get close to a car that went through a power pole on South Madison Street Tuesday morning. Rita Todd, the car’s driver, was not seriously injured. The accident occurred when a car forced Todd’s car off the road. See story, 4-A of the printed edition.
