On Saturday, the Wolfpack competed in a soccer Jamboree where it scrimmaged Hoggard, South Brunswick, Chapel Hill and New Hanover. Coach Mike Buckpitts’s Whiteville squad will open its regular-season today at 6 p.m., when it plays host to the Wilmington Hoggard junior varsity. On Monday, the Wolfpack will take on West Brunswick.
