Last week’s spring-like weather conditions were ideal for pre-season practice sessions of the Southeastern Community College baseball team. New Ram coach Joey Autry (pictured above) leads an infield drill during Thursday afternoon’s workout. In photos below, SCC infielder Pablo Torres gets set to make a throw from his knees and Ram player Andrew Mudd practices his bunting technique in the batting cage. The Rams will open their season on Feb. 6 at North Carolina Wesleyan (see schedule on 2B). Autry takes over as head coach this year after several successful high school seasons at West Bladen and Bladenboro.
