A.J. Barnhill signals a crane operator to raise a 263,000-pound railroad car filled with coal that derailed on Braswell Road in Chadbourn Tuesday. The 90-car train was traveling from Mullins to Conway, S.C. at about 5 mph when wheels from six of its rearward cars left the tracks. No one was injured, but the road was closed while workers repaired the tracks.
