Harrells shuts out Warriors

HARRELLS – Things did not go well for the Waccamaw Academy baseball team Thursday as it dropped a 10-0 decision to the host Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders.

The game was halted in the sixth inning by the 10-run rule.

Matt Ward had two hits for the Warriors and Ben Rouse had a double for the Warriors, who evened their season record at 2-2. Grayson Graham had one hit. Ward and Rouse pitched for Waccamaw Academy, which has won the last three NCISAA state 1A championships.

Waccamaw Academy is scheduled to play West Bladen today at 4:40 p.m., at the West Bladen field.
