| Wolfpack blasts W. Bladen 11-3 DUBLIN A 15-hit attack spurred the Whiteville Wolfpack to an 11-3 non-conference baseball victory over the host West Bladen Knights Tuesday. Junior Robbie Penny led the way, pitching a five-hitter for his second mound win of the season and going 3-for-5 at the plate. Sophomore catcher Lloyd Enzor drove in four runs with two hits, including a double, while Sprandon Mahoney and Cameron White each had two hits. White also had a double. Coach Brett Harwood’s Wolfpack never trailed, jumping to a 3-0 lead in the third inning and later adding five runs in the sixth inning for a 9-3 lead. The win avenged a 7-5 home loss to West Bladen two weeks ago as Harwood’s Wolfpack put its season record at 2-3. West Bladen saw its record slip to 3-2. Brisson led the Knight batting order with two hits and Locklear was the losing pitcher. Whiteville will entertain longtime rival West Columbus on Friday at 5 p.m.
