Stallions thump
W. Brunswick 10-4

SHALLOTTE - A rough night of pitching for West Brunswick helped result in South Columbus High’s 10-4 non-conference baseball win over the Trojans Tuesday night.

It was the third win in two days for Coach Willie Gore’s Stallions, who had taken a Monday doubleheader from East Bladen that included a five-inning, no-hit pitching performance by Garrett Bullock.

The Stallions gained revenge for last week’s loss to the Trojans as they put their season record at 4-4.

Ethan Ward was the winning SCHS pitcher while Landon Simmons clouted a double to pace the Stallions’ six-hit attack.

West Brunswick committed four costly errors in the loss.

Gore’s Stallions will open Waccamaw 1A-2A Conference play Tuesday, March 21 when they play host to the North Brunswick Scorpions.
