March 6, 1999Chris Wilcox’s 21 points and eight rebounds lead the Whiteville Wolfpack to a 67-64 victory over the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs for the Eastern N.C. 2A Regional basketball championship at ECU’s Minges Coliseum. A week later the Wolfpack wins the state 2A championship by defeating West Caldwell 56-45 at Chapel Hill.
