South Columbus tennis player Adam Lanier unwinds for a serve in last week’s Waccamaw 1A-2A Conference match with host Whiteville. South Columbus won the match 7-2 to claim the conference championship. Coach Nathan Faulk’s South Columbus squad will be the leading contender for regional qualifying at this week’s Waccamaw Conference tennis tournament, set for the South Brunswick High School courts at Boiling Spring Lakes.
