The N.C. Strawberry Festival parade, held this weekend in Chadbourn, is a hot spot for Shriner sightings, with at least seven Shrine clubs participating. This group, from Shallotte, had go-karts riding along the parade route and on top of a car. At right, this berry illustrates the heart of the festivities.
