Former Whiteville High basketball star Chris Wilcox is featured on a giant billboard in Seattle for the tip-off of the 2006-2007 Seattle SuperSonics season in the NBA. Wilcox was traded to the SuperSonics by the Los Angeles Clippers last February and is now holding down the starting power forward position. The 24-year-old Wilcox is in his fifth season in the NBA after getting drafted by the Clippers in the first round of the 2002 draft following a sensational sophomore season for the national champion University of Maryland Terrapins.
