The Optimist-Columbus league provides competitive soccer for children and youth of all ages and abilities. The league continues to grow in size and interest. The addition of Kramer Field in recent years has provided even more opportunities for more specialized play and practices. The league is a combined project of the Whiteville Optimist Club and the Columbus County Department of Parks and Recreation
