Whiteville High soccer players Franco Rizzo (right) and Sergio Beltran lead an offensive break during Thursday night’s non-conference match with visiting Purnell Swett. Rizzo’s goal with just over a minute remaining salvaged a 2-2 tie for the Wolfpack (see story on 2B). Whiteville, now carrying a 5-2-1 record, will entertain South Brunswick tonight at 7 in a key Waccamaw/Southeastern Conference match.
