Each day, more people pass through the city of Whiteville than live there, but few of them do so under their own power, like this group of cyclists did on Tuesday and Wednesday. The travelers left Maine 18 days ago and are headed for Florida on a chartered tour. Leading the pack out of Whiteville Wednesday morning are, from left, Paul Treng of California, Cliff Young of Colorado and John Hollingsworth of Kentucky.
