Wilcox watch

Chris Wilcox

Former Whiteville High and University of Maryland star Chris Wilcox scored a career-high 32 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the Seattle SuperSonics’ 112-109 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last Friday. The 6-foot-10 Wilcox hit on 11 of 16 field-goal atttempts and connected on 10 of 16 attempts from the foul line. The Sonics carried a 31-47 record into their road game with Phoenix on Wednesday night. For the season, Wilcox is averaging 13.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
