A photographer stands inside a 105,000-cubic-foot hot air balloon Tuesday morning, capturing the moment as the pilot, Kevin Knapp, center, and a volunteer secure the balloon’s canopy for a flight over Chadbourn. A squadron of 25 balloons will sail over the N.C. Strawberry Festival. Passage on one-hour flights is available for donations of $175 per person to the festival.
