WINGATE – The Southeastern Community College baseball team split a doubleheader with the host Wingate University junior varsity on Monday.

Wingate rallied to win the opener 12-8 and SCC won the second game 5-3.

Coach Joey Autry’s SCC squad took a 20-22 record into Wednesday afternoon’s game with Lenoir Community College at Kinston.

Southeastern will close out its home scheduled on April 25 when it plays host to Rockingham Community College in a 1 p.m. doubleheader. On April 28, the Rams will close out regular season with a 1 p.m., doubleheader at Rockingham Community College.
