19,000 paper rings

Students at Whiteville Primary School raised $1,900 by donating 10 cents per paper ring to raise money for Relay for Life. The rings were made into purple and pink chains, which are currently decorating classrooms at the school and will be seen during Relay weekend, April 20-21. Elementary schools all over the county are invited to see if they can match – or exceed – the results of WPS. Every dollar raised helps change and/or save lives affected by cancer. Those from left on the back row are: Isaiah Jones, Sean Allen, Corey Snyder and Mackenzie Gore.
