Gator field vandalized East Columbus High School football coaches arrived at their field Tuesday to find it damaged by graffiti, composed through the use of grass-killer. Some of the graffiti carried Whiteville High School implications, including the above “Wolfpack” in the north end zone. Another, composed at midfield in the same sized lettering, spelled out “WHS Class of 08.” There was also a “Gators” and what appeared to be an attempt at “Stallions.” East Columbus head football coach Travis Conner said that a $400 reward has been posted for knowledge leading to the person or persons responsible. “I really want to find out who did this,” he said.
