Melon day
Norma Heath, right, doesn’t grow watermelons in her garden anymore, so she likes to pick up a few fresh ones from the Farmers Market in Whiteville. Farmer Clyde Stubbs helps Heath carry Star Bright and a Crimson Sweet watermelons to her car during Melon Day at the market Saturday.
