Whiteville High School senior tennis player Katie Bastug competes in No. 1 singles during Monday’s season-opening match with Waccamaw Conference rival Pender. Whiteville won the match 9-0. Coach Timmy Arp’s Lady Wolfpack played Wednesday at East Bladen and are scheduled to take on South Brunswick today at Boiling Spring Lakes. See story on 2B of our printed edition.
