Tennis rivals

High school tennis players (top to bottom) Valerie Edwards of East Columbus, Karlie Floyd of West Columbus, Victoria Sellers of East Columbus and Olivia Strickland of West Columbus compete in a non-conference match at the West Columbus courts on Tuesday. East Columbus won the match 8-1. Girls high school tennis teams have been very active in the first two weeks of play with most playing three matches per week. East Columbus competes in the Waccamaw 1A-2A Conference and West Columbus is a member of the Southeastern 1A-2A Conference. See tennis results on 2B of our printed edition.
