McIntyre leads whips

Congressman Mike McIntyre announced Tuesday that he was chosen by House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) to serve as Senior Whip on his whip team for the 110th U.S. Congress.

McIntyre will help Clyburn gather support for Democratic legislation in this role.

“I am honored and excited about my role in the new majority to help bring change to Washington and advance legislation that meets the needs of working families,” McIntyre said in a press release.

“Congressman McIntyre is an experienced member of our team and his values, knowledge, and commitment to help working families will be an asset in this Congress,” Clyburn said.
