New fair offices

The Columbus County Agriculture Fair Board will sport its first “office complex,” thanks to Trigon Builders and Milligan Movers. On Wednesday, the old Department of Transportation office, minus its brick facade, was moved about 1,000 feet to the fairgrounds. J.E. Thompson, of Trigon, which built the new DOT building, said donating and moving the old building was less expensive than demolition and disposal of the structure.
