Youth soccer deadline Friday
Friday, July 27, is the deadline for registration for the 2007 Whiteville Optimist-Columbus County Youth Soccer League. League play is open to children and youth of ages 4 to 15. Sign-ups can be made at the Columbus County Department of Parks and Recreation office on Smith Street in Whiteville. Players new to the league should bring a birth certificate.
