LELAND - Host North Brunswick erupted for eight runs in the first inning and went to take a 16-1 baseball victory over the visiting Waccamaw Academy Warriors Friday.
It was the first win of the season for North Brunswick after three losses.
Waccamaw Academy fell to 0-3 with the loss. The Warriors had opened with losses of 7-6 to Village Christian of Faytteville and 19-2 to St.Pauls.
