It’s a ‘how much is it?’

The Columbus County Extension Service and Farmers Market hosted a field trip for Whiteville Primary students Tuesday to help them appreciate the nutritional value and source of fresh fruits and vegetables. When a teacher pointed to the scale and asked the students what it was, one responded; “It’s a how much is it!” In front are Destiny Gause, Selena Spivey and Christian Faison.
