Peace signing

South Columbus High School softball standout Courtney Long signs a national-letter-of-intent last Wednesday to play for Peace College. Long, an infielder, has been a four-year starter for the Lady Stallion softball team, gaining All-Waccamaw Conference and All-Columbus County honors. She has also competed in volleyball, basketball and track at SCHS. Raleigh-based Peace College competes in the USA South Atlantic (NCAA Division III) Conference.
