Tabor City planning two
Sunday memorial services

All veterans will be recognized and honored on Sunday, May 27 in Tabor City Baptist Church’s annual Memorial Day patriotic service. Services begin at 10:30 a.m.

“We would especially like to honor people who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan,” said Dr. David Coleman, pastor. “There are many things that will be happening in the service as a way of honoring these men and women who have served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. We invite everyone to be a part of this exciting service.”

The church will be decorated in a patriotic theme, military memorabilia will be displayed in the vestibule and special patriotic music will be provided.

At 3 p.m. Sunday, a Memorial Day service will be held at the Tabor City Veterans Memorial at the public library on East Fifth Street in downtown Tabor City. The public is invited.
