South Columbus High’s Dori Faulk (top), West Columbus’ Jessica Hayes (middle) and South Columbus’ Shay Grainger compete in a non-conference tennis match Tuesday at South Columbus. South Columbus, the two-time defending Waccamaw Conference champion, won the intra-county match 9-0. Regular- season play will run through the first week of October, followed by conference tournament play, dual-team playoffs and regional tournament action. See high school tennis results on 2B.
