Lady Bronco signee
East Columbus High School senior athlete Jasmine Young signs a letter-of-intent Thursday to play basketball for Fayetteville State University. Young was a two-year starter at guard for the Lady Gators, who finished runnerup in the Waccamaw 1A-2A Conference this past season, earning all-conference and all-county honors. Young also competes in track and field and is the defending state 1A champion in the long jump. She is also the reigning ECHS Homecoming Queen. Joining Young for the signing are her parents (seated) Joe Owen Young and Diane Young.
