The Greater Whiteville Chamber of Commerce will hold its 71st annual meeting and banquet Monday, Jan. 28, at Southeastern Community College, T-building.

A social hour and business expo will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by a meal at 6:45 p.m. catered by the Todd House of Tabor City.

Tickets are $22 each and are available at the Chamber office.

A new marketing plan for Whiteville and Columbus County will be led by Jonathan Medford of Inspire Creative Studios.

Other presentations will include the Sol B. Mann Community Spirit Award, introduction of new chamber directors and president-elect Geoff Hopkins.

Chamber members are invited to promote their businesses by decorating their dining table with items that identify their respective product lines and visiting with banquet attendees during the social hour.

Tables will be available on a first come, first served basis. Call the Chamber for details.
