The South Columbus boys and East Columbus girls hold down second place in their respective divisions of the Waccamaw Conference (See standings on 2B). South Columbus will play host to the conference leading teams from Pender on Friday night while East Columbus is scheduled to travel to Leland to take on North Brunswick. Regular-season play will conclude on Feb. 15 and conference tournament action will open on Feb. 18.
