ECHS exes playing big roles in UNCP softball success

Former East Columbus High School softball standouts Anna Williamson (top) and Morgan Patrick have played key starting roles this season for the record-breaking UNC-Pembroke softball team that won the 2008 Peach Belt Conference championship and compiled a 44-12 record. The Lady Braves are currently playing host to the South Atlantic Regional (NCAA Division II) Tournament. Williamson is a senior second baseman and Patrick is a freshman outfielder.
